Code Enforcement Officer
Welcome to the Town of Franklin's Code Enforcement Department.
Angela Green is a West Virginia native that migrated to North Carolina in 1987. Angela left the Piedmont Triad and came to Western North Carolina in 2021. Prior to coming to the Town of Franklin, Angela worked for the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Angela is happy to be able to serve the Town of Franklin and Macon County.
What we do
Code Enforcement
The Town of Franklin Code Enforcement Officer makes sure residents and businesses follow proper laws and ordinances. Duties include applying and enforcing the code of ordinances for the Town of Franklin including Sign ordinance, Minimum Housing ordinance, Nuisance Ordinance, Animal Ordinance and Abandoned & Junk Vehicle Ordinance.
Code Enforcement also performs inspections to ensure compliance with the code of ordinances, and checking for violations following complaints. The code enforcement officer takes appropriate enforcement action when violations and / or fines have not been resolved by the offender
